Sausage, peppers, and onions – oh my!

What a colorful plate! I don’t know if this really necessitates a recipe because it was so easy, but here’s a quick rundown. I sautéed the onions and bell peppers in some garlic and olive oil. Sliced up some smoked sausage, and tossed it in, along with some soy sauce. The mushrooms were a last minute addition – just happened to find some in the fridge that I wanted to use up. Sprinkled copious amounts of fresh ground black pepper over it all, served atop rice, and that was that! Oh, and of course I added a generous dollop of chili garlic sauce that makes anything and everything better. Very tasty, very quick, very easy – very nice combo.
