LOMP on hiatus

Well, that didn’t last long. Two weeks?

Judging by my stress levels and general bad mood regarding cooking the past two weeks, the LOMP tag is sure not going to be getting any bigger anytime soon.

I will be too depressed to read back on my LOMPs and see lists like this:

– take out x100
– ramen
– lean cuisine
– jjpagetti
– fried egg on rice
– tuna bap
spaghetti and jar sauce

It’s just impossible for me to juggle full-time work (longer hours coming soon), school two nights of the week, the requisite schoolwork, going to the gym, grocery shopping and any real cooking.  Plus, in order to stay sane, I need at least one hour of drama-watching or putzing around on the internet. Srsly.

Maybe, there will be enough free time on some weekends, and I will feel motivated to try new recipes.  But, I think its safe to say that LOMP is on semi-hiatus until after May.

LOMP: 2/8 – 2/11

Looks like this week’s LOMP is a wash for the following reasons:
1.   I’m tired.  and PMSing.  BLEH.
2.  I have homework to get done before the long weekend.  BLEH x2.
3.  Pooh departs for Cali on Wednesday (less motivation to cook if its just me).

MONDAY:
– Kimchi jigae
Too tired to write this up separately, but note to self:  don’t use gochugaru AND gochujang.  yowza.

TUESDAY:
– Leftover kimchi jigae

WEDNESDAY:
– Fridge stir fry (to use up tomatoes, mushrooms, and onion.  maybe a breakfast scramble a la Gulez)

THURSDAY:
– Jjapagetti and kimchi.

We’ll make up for it on Sunday!

Leeetz Operation Meal Plan (LOMP): 2/1-2/4

This week will begin my last semester of graduate school and is light on the cooking to accommodate night classes on Wed and Thurs.  I will probably continue to cook dishes with large yields on Sunday so that  we can have leftovers on Wednesday.

MONDAY:
ban chan leftovers (spinach & stewed beef) and rice
egg drop soup

TUESDAY:
mac & cheese
– sautéed broccolini with garlic

WEDNESDAY:
– beef & vegetable soup (from Sunday)

THURSDAY:
– TBD.  This could end up being cereal…depending on how late class gets out and if Pooh is eating at work.

Same with Gulez, Fridays are often happy hours/going out/too tired to cook, so I won’t be planning those.  Neither will I be planning the weekends because who can think that far ahead?!
